Betty Ann Suddreth, 85, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Betty was born September 24, 1939, in Caldwell County, the daughter of the late Floyd Granville Mull and Mary Irene Hollar Mull.

Betty worked as a personnel manager in the furniture industry. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church; she loved her church family very much. She loved cooking for other people and enjoyed having a good time with her friends. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Burton Suddreth, and a brother, Tom Mull.

Those left to cherish and honor Betty’s memories include her daughters, Crystal Whisnant (John) of the Ellendale Community, and Georgeanne Blevins (Jay) of the Bethlehem Community; her son, Kelly Suddreth (Sherri) of the Bethlehem Community; her grandchildren, Ashley Clack (Brent), Holly Parsons, Mackenzie Reid, Cody Suddreth (Samantha), Caleb Suddreth, Lauren Paris (David Singletary), Danielle Gilreath (Jeremiah), Jacob Whisnant (Fayth), and Justin Huffman; step-grandchildren, Jeremiah Blevins (Tamara), and Taylor Blevins; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Emma, Dépree, Brooklyn, Carson, Harley, Cash, Willow, Edyn, Riley, Haedyn, Cora, John Amos, Josiah, Warren, and a great-granddaughter on the way; step-great-grandchild, Silas Blevins; her brother, Gary Mull (Linda) of Hickory; and a number of other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Stephen Dagenhart and Pastor Taylor Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Liledoun Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church.
