Lindsay Crisp Alger, 39, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1985, in Asheville, N.C., daughter of Garry and Diane Crisp.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvin and Jane Pollock, Roy and Juanita Cogburn, and Harlan Cay Crisp, and her cousin Beau Pollock Beling.

Lindsay will forever be cherished by her parents; her children, Griffin James Alger and Holly Jane Alger; her brother, Jacob Crisp (Danielle Leeke); her fiancé David Cantrell; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She graduated from TC Roberson High School and UNC Charlotte with a degree in communications. She previously worked at Strayer University, Levine Dickson Hospice House, and as a personal fitness trainer and nutritional coach. However, she considered her most important job, and the one that gave her pure joy, was that of being a devoted, adventuresome and loving mommy to her precious Griffin and Holly.

Her family would like to thank those that have extended their condolences by remembering Lindsay as a shining star, a bright spirit, a beautiful soul, and one with an infectious smile, laugh and kindhearted personality.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher with the Reverend J Clarkson presiding.
