Albert Dennis Ellis, 75, of Mount Ulla, N.C., passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, following a period of declining health.

He was born on July 9, 1949, in Logan County, W.Va., to the late Scebert Dennis Ellis and Minnie Bragg Ellis. Mr. Ellis drove a truck for over 27 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and mowing the yard. He loved his family, including his dog, Harley, and spending time with them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Hobbs Ellis; brother, Richard Ellis; and granddaughter, Heather Ellis.

He is survived by his children, Seabert Ellis, Angela Christie (Robert), Clint Ellis, and Ashley Tevepaugh (Tommy); sisters, Joyce Reams, Mable Hatfield, and Ellie Lambeth; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with a service following at 12 noon at Community Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
