Justyn Jack Jenkins, 26, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

He was born on July 15, 1998, in Huntington, N.Y., to Jack Timothy Jenkins and Rowena DeJesus. Justyn was a child model, an avid podcaster, a novice rap artist and songwriter who enjoyed working out, playing lacrosse and football, swimming, being on the lake, cooking, and spending time with his family. Justyn was kindhearted, very respectable, generous, selfless and had a peaceful spirit which will be greatly missed but will forever live in our hearts.

Justyn is survived by his mother and bonus father, Rowena DeJesus and Eric Colon; father and bonus mother, Jack and Shaya Jenkins; sister, Cyara Colon; brothers, Jaeden and Jerrel Jenkins; grandparents, Jack Jay Jenkins and Joan; aunts, Simone Jenkins Sierra and husband, Sam Sierra, and Felicia Jenkins; godmother, Wanda Butler; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, from 9 to 10 a.m. with a service following at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
