Martha Jane Anderson Graham, 91, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House.

She was born on July 5, 1933, in Rowan County, N.C., to the late Marshall and Nannie London Anderson. Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Mount Ulla High School and received her nursing degree from Furches Hall School of Nursing in Mooresville. She was a retired Registered Nurse working with Dr. A.M. Henderson for five years and in the operating room at Lowrance Hospital and then Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for over 43 years. She was a member of Centenary Methodist Church, Mooresville. She served on various committees, coordinated funeral meals, and was a member of the Circle of Love, Lamplighters, and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Graham enjoyed cooking and feeding everybody, canning, gardening, and fishing with her husband Bill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gene Graham; brothers, Marshall (“Shorty”), Leonard (“Dick”), and Grady Anderson; sisters, Ethel Ervin, Kathleen White, Mary Lou Waddell, Margaret Edwards, and Edith Shulenburger; and two infant sisters and one infant brother.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Gene Graham Jr. and wife Alison, and Paul Marshall Graham and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Mandy Pender and husband Dan, Clay Graham and wife Katie, Kristen Schillinger and husband AJ, Katherine Graham, Mary Lynne Graham and Mackenzie Tuten; great grandchildren, Mason Pender, Hayden Schillinger, Josie Pender, Vivien Pender, Emerson Graham, Mille Schillinger, Abigail Graham, Ava Schillinger, and William Tuten; numerous nieces and nephews; and her really good friend, Jane Leatherman.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 21, at Centenary Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Treece and Joel Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
