Nurse Practitioner Hannah Brooke Brown has joined the practice at Family Care Center of Statesville, which is part of the Iredell Physician Network.

Hannah Brown, FNP-C

A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Brown brings experience in cardiovascular intensive care, palliative care, urgent care, free clinics, and family medicine to Iredell Health. She earned her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University, where she received the Leadership Award. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Medical University of South Carolina. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Brown’s goal is to empower her patients.

“I believe in meeting patients where they are, respecting their individual beliefs, and empowering them to make the best health decisions possible based on the available evidence. By listening to my patients and treating them as I would my own family — with kindness, respect, and unwavering dedication — I strive to help them lead healthier lives,” she explained. “This patient-centered approach is what inspires my passion for family medicine, where I can build strong, supportive relationships and guide patients toward better health outcomes.”

Outside of work, she cherishes time with her husband, two-year-old daughter Elara, and extended family. She is the legal guardian of her brother, Noah, who has special needs. She is a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities.

Brown is excited to return to Iredell Health.

“I was born at Iredell Memorial Hospital. I returned there as a travel intensive care nurse during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide aid. I wanted to work for an employer that was passionate about helping the community I grew up in,” she said.

Brown believes mental and physical health go hand in hand.

“Dedicate at least 15 minutes each day to doing something that brings you joy. Your mental health is closely tied to your physical wellbeing, so making time for yourself is not just important — it’s essential.”
