Kathy Eagle Nantz, 65, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center.

She was born on June 23, 1955, in Mooresville to Catherine Sherrill Eagle and the late Bill Eagle. Ms. Nantz loved to shop, and she loved animals. She had a huge sense of humor and was the life of her family.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Cox; sister, Cheryl Allison; and grandson, Christopher Cox.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Daniel Cox; sisters, Shelia Booth, Donna Allen, and Cynthia Hager (Jeff); grandchildren, Scott Cox, Amanda Cox, and Lexy Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of Cynthia Hager on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. Private services will be held at a later date.
