Perry Steve Miller, 73 of Statesville, N.C., died Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ashe County, N.C., on September 25, 1947, to Ralph Miller and the late Ruby Miller.

Perry attended Bright Light Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and going to the beach to fish. Perry was a hard worker and was the owner and operator of Miller Roofvac. He was very a good husband and grandfather and was generous, kind-hearted, patriotic and more than anything he loved his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 40 years, Kathy Mitchell Miller; daughters, Kinnan Johnson (Ken); Denise Redfear, Jody Allen; grandchildren, Kezlan Johnson, Kami Johnson, Ashley McAlister (Lee), Michelle Warren (Jarreth), Katherine Allen, and Nick Allen; a sister, Dianne Genderon (Dan); and a son-in-law, Tom Allen.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, December 11, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Ham’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jayson Fox officiating. Mr. Miller will Lie in State on Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
