Vickie Gail Chadwick Minton, 57, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C. She was born Thursday, March 14, 1963, in Hartford, Conn., to the late Marvin Chadwick and Agnes Ostwalt Chadwick.

Vickie was of the Baptist faith and worked as a machine operator in the Furniture Industry. She truly was a shining light to many and will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Brown and Loretta Chadwick.

Vickie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jeffrey Dean Minton of the home; one son, Jeffrey Wayne Minton of Taylorsville, N.C.; one daughter, Tiffany Minton of Hiddenite; two brothers, Jerry Chadwick and Earl Chadwick; one sister, Jenny Perez; and six grandchildren, Payton Minton, Elijah Minton, Steven Parsons, CJ Stevenson, Hayleigh Parker, and Lakelyn Minton.
