Kathy Stewart Anderson, 61, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on February 2, 2021, at her residence. She was born on February 8, 1959, in Mooresville, N.C., to Kathleen McClain Morrow and Kenneth Stewart.

Mrs. Anderson was a very giving person and enjoyed being a caregiver. She enjoyed going dancing with her friends. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Anderson.

She is survived by her children, Rose Wyles (James Hudson), Jake Elliott (Anglea Reynolds), and Crystal Anderson Hatley; grandchildren, Kelly Wyatt (Joseph), Kaitlen Anderson, and Destiny Vanhoy; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Natalie, Zoey, Lacey, Aiden, and Avah; sisters, Joanie Moose (Tony), and Patricia Wallace (Danny); brother, Gary Stewart (Becky); and special friend, Teresa Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 5, at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery.
