Barbara London Ussery, 80, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was born on June 5, 1940, in Mooresville to the late William and Martha Powers London.
Mrs. Ussery was retired from Dr. Richard Martin’s office, working with him in Mooresville and in Salisbury. She studied music at Lenoir Rhyne College. She was a lifelong member of Prospect Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. Mrs. Ussery played the piano and organ. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and working in her vegetable garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ussery.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Goodman (Randy), and Rhonda Church (Keith); brother, Gerald London; and grandchildren, Justin Goodman, Jason Church (Taylor), Ashley Church, and Bethany Church.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will hold a graveside service on Sunday, February 21, at 2 p.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery. For those who are unable to attend the graveside, you may go to the following link for the live stream:
