Iredell-Statesville Schools officials reported a total of eight cases of secondary spread of COVID-19 last week as the coronavirus continues to directly impact instruction for a small percentage  of the district’s students.

Twenty-one students and five staff members tested positive for COVID-19 during the week of February 19-25.

Across the district a total of 549 students were quarantined or isolated due to possible COVID-19 exposure, along with 42 staff members.

I-SS and the Iredell Health Department notified parents of positive tests at the following schools:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Coddle Creek
East Iredell
Lake Norman
Lakeshore
Shepherd

MIDDLE SCHOOLS
Northview
West Iredell 
Woodland Heights

HIGH SCHOOLS
Lake Norman
South Iredell
West Iredell
