Iredell-Statesville Schools staff and students have made it to the finish line of the 2020-2021 school year, overcoming myriad challenges and disruptions to learning caused by COVID-19.
District officials reported that four staff members and five students had tested positive for COVID-19 during the week of May 21-27. None of the cases was attributed to secondary spread in schools, officials said.
Fourteen staff members were required to quarantine or isolate during the final reporting period due to possible exposure or symptoms, along with 328 students.
