FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify two suspects in a motor vehicle break-in.
On June 6, ICSO deputies received a report about a vehicle breaking and entering at South River Baptist Church, located at 2659 South Chipley Ford Road.
The victim reported that multiple debit and credit cards were stolen and used to make fraudulent purchases, according to an ICSO news release.
Detectives went to the various businesses where the cards had been used and viewed store security video, which showed a male and female using the cards, Sheriff Darren Campbell said in the news release. The suspects used the cards to purchase over $1,000 worth of gift cards, according to the news release.
It appears the male suspect is wearing two different shoes due a brace on his left ankle.
If you have any information about this investigation or know either of these suspects, please call the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.
