John “Jack” Grady Copeland, 76, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on November 10, 2021. He was born on December 23, 1944, in Oak Ridge, Tenn., to the late John and Lucille Copeland.

Jack was a “jack” of all trades from painting to plumbing and everything in between. He was well known for his homemade pimento cheese, but preferred dining with friends. Jack was a great listener and a friend who could always be counted on to help. He was a good friend to everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his son, Bryan Gale; nephew, John Copland; and special friends, Teri and Jere Haus and Joy Costa Copeland.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, N.C.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
