Jimmy Lester Hager, 83, of Troutman, N.C., passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Citadel – Mooresville Center. Born In Iredell County on September 12, 1938, he was the son of the late Floyd L. Hager and Margaret M. Lail Hager.

Mr. Hager worked many years at Southern Screw Company.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Karico Hager; one daughter, Lisa Dianne Hager; one brother, Richard Hager; and one sister, Patricia Ann Wise.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Mark L. Hager and Jeffrey S. Hager; and one brother, Roger Hager.

Jimmy will lie in state Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will occur on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville, N.C.
