Margaret Hearn Helms, 80, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

She was born on May 3, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to the late Charles Lee and Lillian Myrtle Hearn.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Canup, and Betty Hardin; and brothers, Buddy Hearn and Bubby Hearn.

She graduated from Hardin High School and enjoyed playing bingo, puzzles and loved to crochet.

Margaret loved spending time with her family and her grandpup, Apollo. She loved to tell jokes and had a great sense of humor. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Pedrero and her husband Dario; grandchildren, Cody Martin, Gaby Pedrero, and Maria Pedrero; and grandpup, Apollo.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
