William “Bill” Edward Harris, 82, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence.
He was born April 11, 1939, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Clyde Harris and Cloyce Anderson. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former United Methodist Minister and served many churches in the surrounding area. He retired from Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in the Materials Management Department. His favorite hobby was woodworking. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresville.
He is survived by his wife Ann Harris; sister, Marie (Bonson) Holcomb of Jonesville, N.C.; daughter, Darlene Rape (Hal) of Mineral Springs, N.C.; son, Rick Harris (fiancée Susan) of Statesville, N.C.; grandchildren, Hal Rape, Eric Rape, Holly Harris, and Will Harris; step-grandson, Adam Parrish; and great grandchildren; Layla, Baylee and Brynlee Gamble.
No services have been scheduled.
