Randolph McKnight Shumaker, 80, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He was born on July 8, 1941, in Mooresville to the late Kermit and Vera Verble Shumaker.

Mr. Shumaker was a US Air Force veteran. He was retired from Burlington Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Shumaker; daughter, Robin Shumaker; sons, Randolph M. Shumaker II and James Shumaker; and brother, Bobby Shumaker.

He is survived by his son, William D. Shumaker; sisters, Pat Hager (Tommy), Terry Alexander, and Mickey Shumaker (Barbara); fourteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. with a service following at 3 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Wesley and Kevin Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery, Mooresville.
