The Iredell County Parks & Recreation Department will hold a Community Information Meeting on Thursday evening to provide updates about the overall plan for Jennings Park, including construction design, timelines, and more.

The meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m., will be held at the Iredell County Government Center in the Board of Commissioners Room, 200 South Center Street in Statesville.

Jennings Park is located at 141 Deitz Road, north of Statesville.

The 2018 Master Plan for Jennings Park proposes construction of park infrastructure, four baseball fields, four regulation soccer fields, an 18-hold disc golf course, four pickle ball courts, concession stands, restrooms, six picnic shelters, 2.3 miles of walking trails, a playground and more.
