John “Joe” Odell Bullard, 78, of Mocksville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his residence.

Joe was born on August 2, 1943, in Iredell County to the late John Lewis Bullard and Cloyce Odell Renegar Bullard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister. He loved farming, and he was happiest when he was on his tractor.

Mr. Bullard is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Bullard, his children, Johnny Bullard (Shelby), Barbara Reavis (Steven), and Ray Bullard (Lori); grandchildren, Hadassah Bullard, Hannah Reavis, Victoria Reavis, Ethan Bullard, and Erika Bullard; step-grandchildren, Aaron Mash (Jasmine), Kim Shaver (Wesley), and Courtney Stroud (Cody); and step great grandchildren, Gracie Mash and Hayden and Harper Shaver. Also surviving are her niece, Wendy Owen (Paul); great niece, Brooke Hafford (Chris); and great-great niece and nephews, Chris, Sammy and Autumn Hafford.

No public services will be held, per Joe’s request. Those who would like to donate in his honor may do so to North Iredell Rescue Squad, 1538 Tabor Road, Harmony, NC 28634.
