Kimberly Alaine Smith-Hiatt, 54, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 30, 2022, following a period of declining health.

Kimberly was born on February 13, 1968, in Randolph County, N.C., to William Larry Smith and Elizabeth Hendricks. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Kimberly will be remembered for her firecracker spirit and laughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Belk.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Wilson; children, Kristen, Kimberly, Kara, Bailey, Sydney and Dylan; and grandchildren, Austin, Logan and Lillian.

A service to celebrate Kimberly’s life will be held at a later date.
