Julie Ann Teat, 60, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She was born on December 31, 1962, in Gaston County, N.C., to the late Vernon and Mary Smith Teat.

Julie enjoyed cooking, going to the mountains and the zoo. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Sue Laughridge, and brother, John Rosco Teat.

She is survived by her son, John Arney Teat of Statesville; sister, Pamela Teat of Kings Mountain; and nephew, timothy David Neil of Troutman.

A memorial celebration of Julie Ann’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Mooresville Church of God with Pastor Donnie Wise officiating.
