FROM STAFF REPORTS
Thirty-three offenders, including five sex offenders and a convicted murderer, returned to Iredell County after being released by the N.C. Department of Corrections.
Seven of the offenders completed their prison terms, according to the N.C. Department of Public Safety. The other 26 were released early on parole.
Orazio Fava, 35, was convicted of second-degree murder in the September 2007 slaying of Thomas Nichols Jr. near Mooresville.
Fava was sentenced to 11 to 14 years in prison in Iredell Superior Court.
He was originally paroled on September 27, 2018, but his parole was revoked in May of 2019 and he was returned to prison for six months.
The following offenders returned to Iredell County in November:

♦ Timothy Easterling, 30, convicted of sex offender/fail to report address change. Released on parole.

♦ Bobby R. Williams, 41, convicted of attempted trafficking of opium/heroin. Released on parole.
NOVEMBER 5
♦ Michael Gill, 34, convicted of attempted first-degree sex offense. Released on parole.
NOVEMBER 6
♦ Noah M. Davis, 34, convicted of indecent liberty with a child. Released on parole.
♦ Timothy E. Huffman, 36, convicted of level I DWI. Completed sentence.
♦ Ashley N. Whitaker, 32, convicted of possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Released on parole.
♦ Vernon D. White, 54, convicted of possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Completed sentence.
NOVEMBER 7
♦ Travis D. Daniels, 28, convicted of assault by strangulation. Released on parole.
♦ Dustin C. Gatton, 38, convicted of possession with intent to sell a schedule II controlled substance. Released on parole.

♦ Brian L. Crider, 52, convicted of multiple prior larcenies. Released on parole.
NOVEMBER 12
♦ Davontte M. Kincannon, 27, convicted of attempted statutory rape/sex offense. Completed sentence.

♦ John P. Berry, 34, convicted of sex offender on child premises. Released on parole.
♦ Jimothy L. Hayes, 35, convicted of common law robbery. Released on parole.
NOVEMBER 15
♦ Michael T. Bolton, 39, convicted of second-degree kidnapping. Released on parole.
♦ Thomas J. Cordle, 57, convicted of maintaining a place for controlled substances. Released on parole.
♦ Matthew O. Fuller, 41, convicted of larceny over $1,000. Released on parole.
♦ Jerome Millsaps, 28, convicted of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Released on parole.
