Billy Ray Glenn, 60, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on April 25, 2023, at Gordon’s Hospice House in Iredell County.

Billy was born on December 26, 1962, in Iredell County. He was the son of Gladys Maxine (Hartness) McHargue and the late James Edward Glenn. In addition to his father, Billy was preceded in death by four brothers, Danny Glenn, Jerry Hartness, John McHargue, and Todd McHargue.

Billy attended schools in West Iredell. He chose a career in the poultry industry, where he worked with Herbed Farms. Billy is survived by four brothers, Rodney McHargue, Phillip McHargue, Randy McHargue, and Chris McHargue, all of Statesville; one sister, Angie McHargue of Statesville; and a special friend, Gene Brewer.

On Saturday, April 29, a visitation for Billy will be held at Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville from 2 to 4 p.m.  Billy will be laid to rest at a later date with family and friends.
