Michael Emmett Hamlin, 70, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Michael was born March 10, 1953, to Robert and Patricia Mallory Hamlin in Fairfield, Calif.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Terry Hamlin.

Michael is survived by his mother, wife, Martina Hamlin; children, Stephen (Jamie) Hamlin, Lindsay Hamlin and fiance Brad Summer; grandchildren, Emmaline Virginia Hamlin, Magnolia Faith Hamlin; and brothers, Bill (Melody) Hamlin, Tim (Christina) Hamlin.

Michael graduated from N.C. State, Class of 1975. He retired from the Fiber Industry in Business Development. His hobbies included golf, model airplanes, motorcycles, watching cooking shows, and scuba diving. Michael was of the Methodist faith.

No services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to the Multiple-Myeloma Research Foundation.
