Conrad Alexander Campbell, 71, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.
He was born on December 21, 1951, in Mooresville to the late Robert and Matilda Reid Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a 1970 graduate of Mooresville High School. He loved building model cars, playing the drums, and singing. Conrad enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Campbell and Allen Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Elmore and husband Nathaniel; brother, Leonard Campbell and wife Debra; sister, Cordelia Phifer and husband Bennett; grandchildren, MeKisha and Nathaniel Elmore; and special cousin, Franklin Campbell, who has been so helpful and supportive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 18, from 3 to 4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. at Reid’s Memorial Presbyterian Church with Pastor James Harley officiating. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
