Larry Eugene Davis, 84, of Mooresville, N.C., joined our Lord in heaven on Thursday, June 15, 2023. He was born on November 5, 1938, in Concord, N.C., to the late Morris and Bonnie Smith Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Rachel Cashion Davis; and his son, Mark Davis.

He is survived by his daughter, Carla Ellis (Pete); grandchildren, Carey Carter (Trae), Alex Barry, Matthew Davis, and James Davis.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Anita Sain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 214 N. Academy Street, Mooresville, NC 28115.
