Melynn Benfield Roberts, 53, passed away on December 14, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born on June 15, 1966, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of Barbara Ann Wilson Benfield and the late Charlie “Chick” Benfield.

Melynn graduated from West Iredell High School and UNC Chapel Hill as a pharmacist. She enjoyed target practicing, guns, and anything outdoors, especially being on the lake. She also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Melynn loved Christmas and decorating for the season.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters, Katie Roberts and Abby Roberts; mother, Barbara Benfield; fur baby, Star; and best friend, Tammy Hoke.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel if Nicholson Funeral Home with Jeff Durham officiating.
