Douglas “Doug” Raymond Green, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House.

He was born February 23, 1948, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Raymond Bruce Green and Gwendolyn Fox Green. Doug enjoyed listening to music, and was an avid reader. His favorite pastime was carving birds from wood. He loved most of all spending time with his family, his friends, and his pets.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rita Ann Bass Green; brother, Danny Green (Deb); sister, Pam Sturgeon (Kim Cross), and numerous nieces and nephews.

No services will be held at this time.
