Public Works Department – Sanitation Division
Salary Range: $64,355.20 – $106,184.00 (Starting Salary is commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.)

Summary: The Superintendent performs difficult technical and intermediate administrative work overseeing the refuse collection and recycling activities of the city; does related work as required. Work is performed under general supervision. Supervision is exercised over all division personnel.
Minimum Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Extensive experience in refuse collection and recycling activities, including moderate supervisory experience; Experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid N.C. Class B Commercial Driver’s License
