Bonnie Darlene Hall, 63, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House, in Statesville, N.C. She was born on July 23, 1959, in Lexington, Va.
Bonnie was predeceased by her father, Freeman Hall; her mother, Mary Hall Thornburg; her step-father, Bill Thornburg; and her brother, Melvin Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Bulkley (Mike); her grandson, Anthony Bulkley; her brothers, Larry Hall (Laura) and Joey Hall (Karen); her sister, Connie Shelton (Nute); her nephews, Bradley Hall, Jerry Hall, and Josh Shelton; her nieces, Heather Williamson (Shannon) and Jennifer Fox (Steven); her great-nephews, Tristan Williamson, Ty Williamson, and Kyle Hall; her great-nieces, JoeeAnn Fox, and Alexandra Hall; and her great-great-nephew, Beau Williamson.
Bonnie loved spending time with her family and worshipping her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed traveling and singing.
Bonnie owned Master’s Cleaners in Statesville for many years. She was also an accomplished seamstress who sewed for Plyler’s and several other Iredell County businesses.
A graveside service, open to all, will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Pastor Thomas McDaniels officiating.
A Celebration of Life for Bonnie will be held following the graveside service at Cochran Street Bible Church, 964 Cochran Street, Statesville, NC 28677.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherrie Bulkley, P.O. Box 6298, Statesville, NC 28687, to help cover Bonnie’s final expenses.

So sorry for your loss. Bonnie was a very loving person. I got to visit her in the nursing home and it was such a joy to talk with her about the Lord. Prayers for all the family.
