Mr. Brian Eugene Clark, 54, was born in Iredell County, N.C., on September 10, 1968, to Martha Ann Imes Clark and the late Wesley Alphonso Clark. He departed this life on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Brian was affectionately known as “BC” by his family and friends. He graduated from Junction City High School in Junction, Kan., and attended Butler Community College in Eldorado, Kan.. He was a member of the Highland Acres Church of Christ and was an avid Cleveland Browns and UNC Tarheels fan. He was also an entrepreneur and created BBQ sauces.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; his uncles, Harvey Imes, Frank Imes, Sonny Imes, Jim Imes, George Imes, Dan Imes Jr, William Clark, Jimmy Clark, Thomas Clark, aunts, Evelyn Imes, and Mamie Francis Clark, Dorothy Imes, Henrietta Imes, Elizabeth Imes, and Bannye Imes; and his fiancée, Juanita.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his mother, Martha Ann Imes Clark; one daughter, Briauna L”Orial Clark of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Rodney Clark (Marybelle), Reggie Imes (Angie), and Keith Smith (Mary); two sisters, Regina Jackson (John) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Sheri Clark; honorary sister, Michelle McCall; aunts and uncles, Jerry (Phyllis) Imes, John (Agnus) Imes, Mary Imes, Barbara Imes, and Joyce Lovelace (Jessie); and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Highland Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Brother Al Simmons will be officiating, and burial will follow at the Belmont Cemetery, Statesville, N.C.
