Mary Lee Hendren of Mooresville, N.C, departed from this earth to her heavenly home on the morning of August 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 29, 1942, to the late Robert and Mary Torbush, in Hampton, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David Torbush (Sue) and Bill Torbush (Carol); nephew, Jeff Torbush, and granddaughter, Amanda Arney.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Larry Hendren; children, Crystal Arney (Jeff), and Larry “Bubba” Hendren Jr. (Marion); grandchildren, Megan Arney, Savanna and Kolson Hendren; great-grandchild, Eli Arney; brothers, Bobby Torbush (Sue) and Jerry Torbush (Vickie); and many nephews and nieces.

Family will be receiving friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, August 5, at Mooresville Church of God. Services will be at 12 noon, also at the church, with Rev. Donald Wise officiating. A graveside service will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park.
