Rockie Lynne will perform in Downtown Statesville on August 12 during the latest installment of the Second Saturday Festival.

Presented by Southern Distilling Company, this free, family-friendly event will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. near W. Broad Street and Mulberry Street from 2 to 7 p.m.

Waves Entertainment is the producer of this entertainment series. Earlier festivals were held at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

“We are excited to be bringing quality entertainment events to Statesville,” said Justin Taylor, co-owner of Waves Entertainment. “After two very successful events at MLK Jr. Park, we are looking forward to moving this festival downtown, where we expect to see a lot of new vendors as well as an expanded Kids Zone that will include a petting zoo. We encourage people to come out and enjoy a fun afternoon in Downtown Statesville.”

The one-day festival will feature:

● Artisans & Vendors;
● Food trucks:
● Kids Zone / Petting Zoo;
● Mixed drinks from Southern Distilling Company;
● Craft beer by Red Buffalo;
● Live Performance by Rockie Lynne on the main stage 4:30 to 7 p.m.;
● Performance by James Tucker Band from 2 to 4 p.m.; and
● Games, ivgeaways and more
