Louise Murdock Moore, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Statesville, N.C. She was born on May 18, 1940, in Iredell County to the late Lake Wood and Pearl Jane Myers Murdock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roger Dale Robinette and Darrell Wayne Robinette; her grandson, Tory Wayne Robinette; her brother, Dennis Woodrow Murdock; and her sisters, Leville Overcash and Mimi Dell Moore; and infant sister, Louise Murdock.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Melissa Robinette Anzini (Josh); her grandchildren, Chris Robinette (Kate), Ashley Robinette (Becca), and Samuel Franklin Holcombe V (Kelly); her great-grandchildren, Natalie Robinette, Lilly Robinette, Alexander Robinette, Ashton Robinette, Zoey Robinette, and Audrey Holcombe; her brother, Charles Allen Murdock (Brenda); her sister, Shelby Jean Karriker; and many nieces and nephews.
She attended Mitchell College and retired from Armstrong Industries. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, and she loved to watch Lifetime and The Hallmark Channel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August, 24, 2023, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise’s memory to Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
