Edward Henry Bellicourt, 82, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

He was born on June 30, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Paul and Catherine Marquis Bellicourt. Mr. Bellicourt was a veteran serving proudly in the U.S, Air Force. He was retired from auto sales and after retirement enjoyed being a delivery driver for Cannon Pharmacy. He was a member of Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville. Mr. Bellicourt loved going to the mountains, walking, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bellicourt.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Mooney Bellicourt; son, Kevin Bellicourt; daughter, Erin Shrader; grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Paige, EJ, Marin, Athena, and Aleksander; and great grandson, Isaiah.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 28, at Peninsula Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Dye officiating.
