Michael Ray Ritchie, 71, of Statesville, N.C., passed away in his home on Thursday, September 20, 2023.

Michael was born on February 6, 1952, in Stanley County, N.C. He was born to the late Ray Paul Ritchie and Vernie Ester Morton. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School. Michael loved spending time working in his shop and above all else, loved spending time with his grandson, Ezra.

Those left to cherish the memory of Mr. Ritchie include his son, Matthew Ritchie (Sabrina); grandson, Ezra Ritchie; and his former wife and good friend, Sandra Greene.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Troutman Funeral Home with burial to follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m.
