Amanda Lee Lowell, 66, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Turner, Maine, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023, while in Hospice care at Novant Presbyterian in Charlotte, N.C.. She was born December 4, 1956, in Lewiston, Maine. She was predeceased by her parents, Ellsworth and Neva Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Hall, and her sister, Alois Nelson.

Most important to her was her family, and she will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved cooking and having the family around especially for July 4th, when she would have both sides of the family over to celebrate. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, which she always loved spending with her family. She loved going to the ocean and spending time on the beach; Popham was her favorite.

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her husband of 47 years, Bill Lowell; children, Jennifer Knuettel (Mooresville, N.C.) and husband Greg Knuettel, Troy Lowell (Waynesfield, Ohio) and wife Chasity Lowell; brother, Ralph Hall (Rumford, Maine) and wife Barbara; sister, Janice Douglass (Buckfield, Maine) and husband Skip; brother, Irvin Hall (Livermore, Maine); brother in-law, Dan Lowell (Turner, Maine) and wife Linda Lowell; grandchildren, Connor and Willow Knuettel (Mooresville, N.C.), and Addyson and Parker Lowell (Waynesfield, Ohio); nieces and nephews, David Hall, Scott Hall, Jill Cook, Katie Hall, Tammy Cote, Neva Miller, Billy Lowell, Julie Hinkley, Melanie Lowell, Jackie Fontaine, Skipper Douglass, Dell Douglass-Cyr and Ronda Hart, Warren Hall and Tracy, Julie Webster and Kevin Lowell. She also had several great nieces and nephews. She was also blessed to have a very dear friend in Rita Caron.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family in the spring at Highland Cemetery in West Poland, Maine.
