Vivian Triolo Runco, 91, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Abernathy Laurels in Newton, N.C.
She was born on May 16, 1932, in New York City, N.Y., to the late Ferdinando and Domenica Ventolaro Triolo. Vivian loved her family and spending time with them. She was a people person and a great cook, and she enjoyed watching football on TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor James Runco; son, Joseph Runco; sister, Frances Angelastro; brother, Frank Triolo; and great grandsons, Jackson and Anthony.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Burke and husband Kenny, Carol Sticco and husband Mike; sister, Eleanor Golediewski; grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela, Amie, Melissa, Tracy, Ricky, Michael, Anthony, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Austin, Melody, Taylor, Eric, Joseph, Morgan, Alex, Nicholas, Gwendolyn, Luca, Vincenza, Lorenzo, Santino, McKenna, Matthew, Landen, and Madelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, at Salisbury National Cemetery.
