31st Annual Masonic Community Blood Drive
When: Friday, January 10, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center Street, Statesville; and The Charles Mack Citizen Center, 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville

Music with Karla Kincaid
When: Friday, January 10, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Daveste Vineyards, 155 Lytton Farm Road, Troutman
Details: Karla Kincaid will perform her acoustic pop folk sound this Friday at Daveste Vineyards. No cover charge and there will be wine, craft beer and a variety of sodas available for purchase during the event. The concert will be in the Pavilion that is climate controlled. Picnic baskets and crock pots are allowed. No outside alcohol is allowed.
TEEN Refuse To Be A Victim Workshop
When: Saturday, January 11, 9 a.m.to 1 p.m.
Where: Friends of radKids, 126 Ryan Lane, Mooresville
Details: Situational Awareness paired with physical resistance skills for teens & adults. This four-hour workshop will give you incredibly important tips on how to become more aware of danger or harm. A must for everyone. Pickle & Craft Beer Tasting
When: Saturday, January 11, 1 to 5 p.m.
Where: Daveste Vineyards, 155 Lytton Farm Road, Troutman
Details: Tasty Pickles and beer tasting hosted by Daveste Vineyards. Tasty Pickles by Carson will be paired with craft beers from Daveste Vineyards. Complimentary pickles to sample and pickles will be available for purchase. There will be a regular charge of $7 for Beer flight. Pickles will be $5 for medium jars and $7 for large jars. Come on out and have a little fun on a Saturday afternoon
