Stephenie “Saucey” Lee Cooper, 56, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at her home. She was born February 19, 1967, in Ohio to the late Frank Edward Cooper and Janet Elieen Collins Cooper.

Stephenie worked 30-plus years in the hospitality field. She was a very hard worker and always dedicated. She loved animals, enjoyed playing softball and played on a team for 10-plus years. She could never pass up a deal. Stephenie loved Jesus, had a firm faith and was always kind to everyone. She loved to donate to the Mooresville Police Department and Iredell County Fire Department.

Stephenie is survived by her wife of 26 years, Stacy Leach Cooper; children, Christopher Nathaniel Carter (Kelsey) and Bridgette Michelle Rhinehardt (John); siblings, Charlie Cooper, Tammie Kralovic (Andy), Cheryl Bedford (Ryan), and Micheal Cooper (Debbie); and nieces and nephews, Andrea, Dane, Matthew, Zak, Enrae, Jason, Sarah, Max, Joey, and Amber.

A visitation for family and friends will be on December 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Russell Files officiating.
