Louise “Weezie” Shoemaker, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Louise was born in Iredell County, N.C., on February 13, 1946, to the late Joe Johnson and Mildred Feimster. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Louise loved racing, the beach and Elvis. She was one of the most naturally funny people you could meet and she appreciated a good dirty joke. Louise left behind numerous great stories, hilarious one-liners and the best Thanksgiving dressing recipe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Glenda Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sarah Shoemaker and Wendy Vance ( Kevin); grandsons, Colby Vance (Haley) and Ethan Vance; and great granddaughter, Madylin.

The Family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
