Mr. Anthony Craig Goodson, 59, was born n Iredell County, N.C., on July 19, 1964, to Mary Ann Goodson Horne and the late David Oscar Horne. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

Anthony graduated from Statesville High School and worked as a general laborer at a textile factory. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Redmond Goodson.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his mother, Mary Ann Goodson Horne; one daughter, Ashana “Shae” Goodson; five grandchildren, Aunshae Conley, T.J. Tyler Conley, Zymarion Conley, Zhiangel Conley, and Zyquez Conley; two great grandchildren, Huxley Paniga and Frenaylis Paniga; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
