Pamela Diane Burton, 62, of Taylorsville, N.C., died Sunday, January 28, 2024, following a lengthy illness with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Iredell County on September 19, 1961, to Betty Jones Sanderson and the late Gilbert H. Burton.

Pam loved doing needlework, especially cross stitching. She also enjoyed drawing, coloring, and watching horror movies. She loved her cats and all things Hello Kitty.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Betty Sanderson; daughter, Amber Fulton (Cole); two grandchildren, Luke and Winry Fulton; three sisters, Lisa Burton, Angie Pennell (Les), and Holly Strauss (Lee); two brothers, Scott Lee Burton (Mary) and Jody Lynn Burton (Missy); and a huge number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 3 p.m. at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Les Pennell officiating. The family will visit with friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service. Following the service, everyone is invited to the home of her sister, Angie Pennell, 468 N. Chipley Ford Road, Statesville, NC 28625, for a meal.

Donations may be given to the family to help with funeral arrangements.
