West Iredell Volunteer Fire Department personnel, along with the Monticello, Troutman, Stony Point, Central, Statesville and Catawba fire fighters were alerted for a structure fire on Hickory Hollar Drive about 9 a.m. on Friday.

Arriving units found a fully involved structure and a working fire was declared. The fire was brought under control in about an hour.  The structure sustained heavy damage.

No injuries were reported.

Units from Iredell County EMS, Rescue Squad, Office of Emergency Management and the Fire Marshal’s Office also responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
