God’s Mighty Men, a men’s group from several churches in Iredell County who meet weekly at Horizon Church, will host Gideons speaker Dr. Charles Patton on Saturday, March 30, at 9 a.m.
Dr. Patton, along with several other Gideons, will address the group. After their presentation, there will be a time of prayer, along with a Q&A Session with attendees.
Horizon Church is located at 316 Signal Hill Drive in Statesville — behind Cozumel Mexican Restaurant. The event is free and area pastors and men’s groups are invited to attend.
“I look forward to speaking to the God’s Mighty Men group,” Patton said. “Joining me will be Leroy Cannady, a national Gideon speaker; Mike Johnson, South Iredell Gideon Camp president; Dave Hogsed, Gideon Conversation Educational Committee trainer; Brady Johnson, former Iredell-Statesville Schools Superintendent and current development director for the Boys & Girls Club of The Piedmont; and Brian Summers, a new Gideon member. We’re excited to share all of the things God is doing through the Gideons, Good News Clubs, Bible History Classes, and much more.”
