Energage has presented EnergyUnited with its 2024 Top Workplaces USA Award.

The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards.

Top Workplaces USA celebrates organizations with 150 or more employees that have built great cultures. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey.

Winners of the Top Workplaces USA list are chosen based solely on employee feedback.

“We are humbled and honored to receive this national top workplace designation and give all the credit to our employees. Additionally, we are so grateful for the support we receive from our members and Board of Directors,” said Thomas Golden, chief executive officer of EnergyUnited. “This award is a direct reflection of their commitment to serving our members, a core principle of The EnergyUnited Way.”

The cooperative’s unique culture, known by employees as The EnergyUnited Way, is outlined by four core principles: to be safe, secure, present and member-focused. In November, EnergyUnited received the 2023 Top Workplaces award from the Charlotte Observer. As a result of this award, the cooperative was nominated and selected as a winner of the 2024 Top Workplaces USA award.
