Piedmont HealthCare is thrilled to announce the arrival of Dr. Tao Cui, a highly skilled and dedicated urologist, to our community.
Dr. Cui officially opened Piedmont Urology, located at 556 Kitchings Drive, offering comprehensive urological care to patients of all ages, on April 4.
Driven by a passion for advancements in medical technology and a commitment to patient-centered care, Cui chose the field of urology because of its reputation as a specialty at the forefront of innovation. With extensive experience in utilizing cutting-edge techniques, including the application of lasers and robotics, he will utilize the da Vinci Surgical System at Iredell Memorial Hospital, ensuring top-tier care for his patients.
Cui said he is eager to establish strong connections within the local community.
“I want to know the people that I work with and the patients that I serve,” he said.
At Piedmont Urology, Dr. Cui will provide a wide range of services encompassing general urological care, including but not limited to the treatment of kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and pediatric urology.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Cui is a devoted husband and father of two children, ages 11 and 8, and a cherished family dog. In his leisure time, he enjoys gardening and exploring new destinations through travel.
