The Iredell Arts Council will host an evening of spoken word poetry on April 18.

The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will showcase the raw talent and powerful words of an esteemed lineup of local poets.

Jordan Darty, Sam Fox, Cierra Jones, Sha’nee Wasson, Natalie James, Xieven, Luvleeh, Lady V Poetry, Brice and Coite, and D Rob Robinson are expected to take the stage to share their stories, insights, and emotions through the art of spoken word.

Each poet brings a unique perspective and style, promising to inspire, provoke thought, and ignite the imagination of all who attend. From personal narratives to social commentary, their performances promise to leave a lasting impact on the audience.

The Iredell Arts Council is located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville.
